I worked in Mumbai, India for about two years. So, I am always interested in and paying attention to the changes in India. India has so much potential that all experts call Post-China.
The same goes for urban planning and smart city areas. Since taking office in 2014, Indian Prime Minister Modi has announced plans to build 100 smart cities across India by 2022 to boost economic growth and improve people's quality of life. It announced policy guidelines in 2015, with 100 cities selected on a total of five occasions from 2016 to June 2018. Because India has individual policies, bills, culture and language in each region, development is carried out according to the situation of each local government, not in a centralized way. [MOBILITY]Change the wasted time with the future of the automobile industry? | 자동차산업의 미래와 낭비되는 시간을 바꾸다?

The dictionary definition of mobility is liquidity.

In the auto industry, mobility is one of the most frequently coined terms along
with connectivity, electrification and self-driving cars.

Behind the emergence of the word mobility is the emergence of the concept of a shared economy.

Behind the shared economic concept is a report by investment bank Morgan Stanley that says only about 4 percent of the vehicle's life span is used by cars.

Twenty trillion dollars worth of cars around the world (or more than that) are being utilized just 4 percent and 8.4 trillion hours a year are not being utilized.

The issue of a shared economy can now be judged to be a trend that no one can deny.

There has been constant talk that if we continue in the way we have so far, the automobile industry itself could be threatened and would disappear if we don't break away from a fixed mindset in an era of rapid change.

In Korea, several companies such as Tada and Papa have already created their own ecosystems, and similar foreign examples include car-sharing companies such as Uber, Lift and China's Didi Chasing.

Wouldn't it be a much more efficient use of running and traveling time that was wasted on people and on cars that were left unattended would be a much more useful time and means of travel?

모빌리티의 사전적 의미는 유동성이다.

자동차산업에서 모빌리티는 커넥티비티와 전동화, 그리고 자율주행차와 함께 가장 자주 등장하는 용어 하나다.

모빌리티라는 단어가 떠오르게 배경에는 공유경제라는 개념의 등장이다.

공유 경제 개념의 배경은 투자은행 모건 스탠리가 발표했던 차량 수명의 4% 정도만 자동차들은 활용된다고 하는 보고서 등이 있다.

세계의 20 달러 (어쩌면 이상의) 어치의 자동차들이 4% 활용되고 1년에 8 4천억 시간은 활용되지 않고 있다.

공유경제의 이슈화는 이제 누구도 부인할 없는 대세로 자리잡고 있다고 판단할 있겠다.

지금까지의 방식으로 계속해서 나아간다면 자동차산업 자체가 위협받을 있고 빠르게 변화해가는 시대에 고정된 사고방식에서 벗어나지 않으면 사라져버릴 것이라는 말들이 계속해서 나오고있다.

한국에서는 이미 타다, 파파 등과 같이 여러 업체가 자신들만의 생태계를 만들어가고 이와 유사하게 외국의 사례로는 우버나 리프트, 중국의 디디추싱과 같은 차량 공유 업체들도 있다.

달리고 이동하는 시간을 조금 효율적으로 사용할 있다면 사람들과 방치되었던 자동차들에게 낭비되었던 시간들이 훨씬 쓰임 있는 이동의 시간과 수단이 있지 않을까?
